Session 1

Dance and Cheer

This program gives high school students a hands-on introduction to collegiate spirit. Train alongside our Pacific Spirit leaders, learn core techniques in cheer, stunting and dance, and build real teamwork, confidence and school pride.

Curriculum

Throughout the program, you’ll sharpen skills on and off the mat—from mastering motion technique and performance quality to exploring choreography and safe stunting practices. Whether you’re brand-new or a seasoned performer, this is your chance to grow, connect and feel what it’s like to be part of the Tiger Spirit family.

Cheer Media Day
Planned Topics

Instruction zeroes in on a strong foundation in cheer technique, voice projection and crowd leadership—so you can energize audiences with confidence and precision. You’ll also develop essential stunt fundamentals with an emphasis on safety and clean execution. Plus, dive into dance performance and choreography, refining movement, timing and overall performance quality. We’ll round it out with game-day readiness—including sideline chants, traditions and spirit-building strategies—alongside leadership and team-building activities that strengthen communication, accountability and confidence on and off the field.
