Melissa Riley

Melissa Riley was born in Stockton, California, and raised in the San Joaquin Valley. She spent nine years working as an office manager in the insurance industry before transitioning to the wind energy field. In 2011, she joined Pacific as administrative assistant to the director of the Brubeck Institute (currently the Department of Pacific Jazz Studies). Since 2018, Riley has worked in budget management for the Conservatory of Music, where she supports financial planning, budgeting and administrative operations that help advance the Conservatory's mission.

Riley has been married to her husband, Jerry, since 2006. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially caring for her grandson. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors.
