Changemakers Series - Exercising Creative Courage: Imagine the Change We Want and Need, NOW
04:00 p.m. - 05:00 p.m.
When was the last time you felt truly creative? What were you doing, saying, feeling? What was the impact of your creativity--on you, others? And where do you see yourself being creative now? How might we reconnect to our creativity–especially in light of the challenges that negatively impact our schools, communities, nation, and world? How might we “Exercise Creative Courage” (NEP, 2021) to imagine the change we want and need?
Join us for this engaging 1-hour Changemakers session where we'll explore the Liberatory Design mindsets by focusing on "Exercising Creative Courage." Together, we will recognize the importance of adopting this mindset at this pivotal moment and spend the majority of our time discovering and practicing various hands-on strategies to reconnect with our creativity. By doing so, we will not only acquire practical techniques to implement immediately but, more importantly, envision and actively participate in the changes necessary for creating a more positive world today.
