Annual Report
From discovery to delivery, grant-funded research and outreach are expanding access to care, strengthening communities and creating hands-on learning opportunities that prepare our students to lead the future of health care.
I am continually inspired by what our school can accomplish when talented, creative people come together around common goals. With just over 100 faculty and staff, we continue to demonstrate the extraordinary difference a dedicated group of individuals can make when they are united by a shared commitment to education, discovery and service.
This past year, our faculty and staff secured more than $1.45 million in funding, supported primarily by external grants and awards, with additional support from the university. These investments are supporting research aimed at addressing pressing health care challenges while advancing scientific knowledge.
These grants are also strengthening outreach efforts that bring health care services directly to community members. Through outreach initiatives students learn to see the whole person, looking beyond a clinical diagnosis to understand the many factors that shape an individual’s health and well-being.
In addition, this funding is expanding opportunities to explore health care careers and equipping faculty and staff with tools to better support individuals facing significant risks and challenges.
The work taking place in our classrooms, laboratories and communities creates dynamic learning environments for our students to learn, grow and make a meaningful impact.
I am incredibly proud of what we are accomplishing together. As we build on seven decades of excellence, I am eager to see what lies ahead and I am confident that, together, our impact will continue to grow.
With gratitude,

Philanthropy
Pacific Gives 2026
Total raised by 6,000+ donors to support Pacific students
Raised by 208 donors for Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy scholarships and programs
“I think most people can identify one or more ways that Pacific has enriched their life, be it through the friends they made, the education they received or the faculty who made an impact. I am who I am because of Pacific, so of course I want to give back.”
“As students, we often talk about the cost of education in terms of tuition and expenses. But scholarships provide something just as important: confidence. They remind us that others believe in our potential and are willing to invest in our future. That the path we choose is where we are meant to be.”
